Auditions for ‘Twelfth Night’ Oct 23 & 25 at 7PM

The Potomac Playmakers are excited to announce auditions for their next Main Stage Production, “Twelfth Night”. Auditions for this production will be held on Sunday October 23rd and Tuesday October 25th from 7-9pm with video submissions being accepted until October 28th.

The performance dates are December 16th, 17th and 18th, 2022.
For auditions please prepare a Shakespearian monologue (bonus and even better if it is comedic) and there may also be cold readings from the script. All roles are open and everyone is welcome! Please send all video submissions to caitlincutright00@gmail.com.
Auditions will take place at our theater 17303 West Washington Street in Hagerstown.

Music of Bob Courter plus Jam & Open Mic Oct 14 @7pm

There has been a change for our featured musician tonight. We are pleased to welcome Bob Courter.
Bob is a stream of consciousness musician who loves to reconstruct known tunes from a deep catalog of pop, rock, blues, country, jazz and even reggae. He also throws his own songs into the mix. So each show is different as Bob explores the vibe of the room.
Join us tonight for Live music!
Tickets are $5 at the door. BYOB.

Harry Potter Trivia Night Nov 2 @ 7pm

Are you a real Potter Head? Come to Harry Potter Trivia Night with you team of up to 5 people and test your Potter knowledge.  There will be 3 rounds of trivia and a prize for the top team. Refreshments and a raffle ticket are included with your ticket. Tickets are $8 each.

Local Music Jam Oct 14 7PM

Join the Potomac Playmakers on Friday, October 14 for a Night Of Live Local Music, featuring Nik Wiesniewski. Nik is a very talented local musician who has played in many venues throughout the area. We start the evening with an Open Mic. Bring your guitar, banjo, fiddle, or other instruments and play a few songs for the audience. An electric piano and cajon will be available to round out your sound. Nik will take the stage at 8:30, playing a mix of covers and original music. We finish the evening with an opportunity to jam with your fellow local musicians. Tickets are $5 at the door. This is a Stage Door Production. Potomac Playmakers members get in free.

Charlie Brown rescheduled for Sept 24 & 25

We are pleased to have been able to add two new show dates for “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, after we had to cancel the weekend of Sept 16-18. “You’re A Good Man, Charlie Brown” has been cancelled for this weekend as a cast member has tested positive for COVID. We hope to reschedule the following week on Saturday, September 24, and a matinee on Sunday, September 25. As soon as we know, we will give you more information. If you have purchased tickets, we will contact you for a refund or to reschedule.

'Buy a Seat' Plaque Campaign

With the Potomac Playmakers "Buy a Seat"  campaign, you can name a perpetual seat in the Lee Stine Auditorium for only $125. A commemorative 1.5" x 3" brass plate will be placed on the back of one of the seats in the theatre. We cannot ensure the specific placement of each plaque location, but early donors will be placed in the frontmost rows. You are not purchasing the seat for your use during the season, and naming rights do not guarantee that you can sit in that seat when you come to a Playmakers' production. In addition to the permanent plaque you receive a 1-year membership in the Potomac Playmakers, which enables you to vote at the Annual Meeting in our election to the Board.
