Potomac playmakers are thrilled to announce their lineup for the 2019 – 2020 season.
The season starts with little shop of horrors by alan menken and howard ashman. This is a fun musical that first premiered off-off-broadway in 1982. The show will run sept. 6 – 8, and 13 – 15 2019.
Our second show is the porch, a comedy by jack neary. This play about enduring friendships will run nov. 15 – 17, and 22 – 24, 2019.
The shadow box by michael cristofer will be our third show of the season. This pulitzer prize winning drama focuses on end of life scenarios for three different families and how they handle the decision to stop medical treatment. This show will run feb. 21 – 23, & feb. 28 – march 1, 2020.
The last show of the season is play on by rick abbott. This hilarious comedy tells the story of a performing group trying to put on a play in the midst of distractions and interference and an author who keeps changing the script. Our last show will run may 8 – 10, & 15 – 17, 2020.
